What Training Do Our Door Supervision Have?

To hold an SIA door supervision licence in the UK, an individual must complete an accredited Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors. This covers physical intervention skills, conflict management, first aid at work, legal powers, searching procedures, drug awareness and licensing law. Training must be completed through an SIA-approved provider before a licence application can be made.

Beyond the SIA requirement, our door supervisors undergo additional conflict de-escalation training and are briefed on your venue’s specific requirements, door policies, ID checks, dress code enforcement and incident reporting before they start. They represent your venue. We take that seriously.
